About Me

Hi, my name is John Candon and my State Farm Agency is located at 1745 Merrick #5 Ave, Merrick, N.Y. I earned the privilege of being a State Farm Agent, and opened my doors December 1st of 2020. I say "earned" because a State Farm Agency cannot be bought. It is a business that has to be rightfully earned and requires a strong passion for helping others. Being a third generation State Farm Agent, this passion is something that was and still is very present in my household. Both my Grandfather(Marty O'Kane) and father(Steve Candon) became State Farm Agents because they love helping others and improving their community. Because of them, I too share these values.

I am lucky to represent a company that mirrors my beliefs in ethics, family, community, and improvement.

Oscar attended Roosevelt High School and was an all county soccer player during his time there. He played semi professional soccer and is an avid Barcelona fan. Oscar has been working in the insurance industry since 2017 and is licensed in all lines of insurance. He is very passionate about helping customers find coverage that fits their needs. On his free time Oscar likes swimming and jet skiing.

Brenna is a graduate of UNC Wilmington where she obtained a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies. She is a Long Beach, New York native where she takes pride in servicing her community on her free time. Brenna is an advocate for mental health, loves her dog Luna and the NY Rangers. She is dedicated to the State Farm family in servicing all of our customer’s needs.
